Heat Advisory and Course Maintenance

 

This week it's going to get HOT!!! As a reminder we have water provided in each golf cart as well as outside the pro shop, on the 2/12 tee box, Palmer House, #10 halfway house and 8/15.  Please don't be a hero, if you're not feeling well, call the pro shop and we'll come and pick you up.  

Also during this time, you may have noticed we have blocked off tee times in the late morning for golf course maintenance.  This will give the course a breather and let maintenance do som watering and basic maintenance.  Please be respectful and do not try and tee off during these times on Tuesday and Thursday.  

Lastly, this Saturday I played golf in the morning with some members and took the below picture from #14 tee.  This was from a group two groups in front of me that did not replace their divots.  Too often, I hear everyone blaming a different group, or membership type, or category, and too often I come back withe the same answer; everyone plays a role and shares the blame.  Please, do your part and replace your divots, repair ball marks and rake traps.  It's these three simple things that we can all do to help our golf course maintenance team keep this golf course in fantastic shape.
