May Golf Shop Update

Golf Shop Update

Now that we are officially in to the golf season, I want to share some friendly reminders while you’re at the club.

Please take a look at the following videos regarding Divots, Bunkers and Ball Marks.

While these videos are light-hearted in nature, the subject matter is serious when playing.  Taking care of the golf course should be a priority for every member and your guests.

Pace of play

4 hours and 9 minutes for a foursome is the standard pace of play.  If you are playing in a twosome, threesome, or early in the morning your pace of play should be significantly faster.  Play the appropriate tees for your ability and play ready golf at all times!

Overnight Bag Storage

Beginning this month we will also be charging a nightly fee of $20 per night for any golf bags that are left overnight, but do not have bag storage purchased.  This will be enforced daily.  We understand golf bags can be accidentally left overnight, and members may be playing the next day and may want to leave their bags for convenience.  We have 180 members that pay an annual fee for bag storage and to retain fairness, we will be instituting the fee to those that do not have annual bag storage.  Accidentally, leave your bag and pick it up, and are not playing the following day?  No problem, the fee will be removed. This will help ensure that bag storage does not get abused, and we maintain accountability for our members golf bags overnight.

Alcohol

Please note, that outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.  It will violate our liquor license if you bring your own alcohol onto the property and we will ask you to remove it immediately.

Posting your score

Beginning April 1st, you must post your score after every round.  Maintaining a Handicap Index enables you a wide range of competitive golf opportunities.  At Laurel Creek you must post your score on the day you play after every round.  Need a handicap?  See a member of our team to get you set up!

Range and Short Game Area

The practice facility gets a lot of use and we need your help throughout the season so we can continue to provide the best service and the best conditions.  On the practice range, please take divots in one long row, NOT a cluster of divots.  On the short game area, please take one tube at a time, and return it FULL to the station.
